9. Purple Jellydisc Fungus
the jelly like fungus also with so called name of Ascocoryne sarcoides grows on a dead deciduous log. It looks like spherical lobes. But, it is looking flat as a saucer shape. The fungi is in clusters, they press against one another to form a rope-like mass looking just like intestines.
